LISA

All material is made live, by playing a violin through sampling and treatment system LiSa, in a particular place at a particular time. As well as using sound from the violin, there is also a hidden microphone providing the essential wild card. Grab, select, subvert and game with the consequences as you go. Produces a range of material devoid of any obvious violin sound, yet made largely from violin input. No prerecorded samples are used, and none are taken away afterwards.
